- The 2023 Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum (GTNF) opened on September 19. The theme discussed on the first day of the forum was “Consumer First”. Guests at the meeting elaborated on multiple focus issues such as the current status of U.S. FDA enforcement, the future of safe nicotine products in the U.S., whether it will be easy for consumers to obtain products after market compliance, and how the vape industry will help consumers.

It is reportedthat the number of KT&G’s domestic and overseas intellectual property applications has increased from 27 in 2017 to 1,065 in 2022, a growth rate of more than 3,800%.
