- The Department of Trade and Industry of the Philippines has suspended the sale of five vapebrands, including LOSTMARY, Chillax, SHFTDr.Freeze, Aerogin, DonBars and BlackElite. It is reported that these brands were charged for violating Section 4(d) of Republic Act 11900.
- Regarding the suspected illegal transportation of vapes by a Chinese freight forwarding company, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration stated that it is strengthening the monitoring of vapeadvertisements and has clarified the penalty standards.
- The police in Weston-super-Mare, UK, seized illegal vapes and tobacco products worth 10,000 pounds. Some of the seized products involved the vapebrand “ELUX”. Further investigation is still ongoing.
- The police in North Kazakhstan State, Kazakhstan, detained illegal vapedealers and seized a large number of vapessold through Telegram. Some of the seized products involved vape brands “WAKA” and “ELFBAR”.

- Recently, a well-known British distributor said that the British government will announce the details of the disposable vape ban last Friday (September 6) and will confirm that the ban will take effect on April 1, 2025.
- On September 7, the 2024 Global Nicotine Pouch Industry Summit Forum was successfully concluded at the ANTYEXPO site in Kuala Lumpur. - The South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety found that some vapeoils marked as “nicotine-free” contained nicotine-like substances and launched an investigation. The agency warned consumers to avoid using such products whose safety has not been verified.
