  1. Australian law enforcement forces successfully intercepted a suspected smuggling vehicle, seized $580,000 in cash, $1.34 million worth of vapesand $240,000 in illegal tobacco, with a total amount of more than $1.55 million involved.

 

  1. The U.S. Senate and House Appropriations Committees ordered the FDA to crack down on illegal disposable vapes, but took different positions in the appropriations bill. The Senate plans to withhold some funds to prompt the FDA to act, while the House hopes to postpone new menthol and nicotine regulations.
