- In March 2024, China exported about 13.14 million US dollars of vapesto Poland, a month-on-month increase of 36.80% and a year-on-year increase of 0.83%; the export volume was about 173 tons, a month-on-month increase of 9.28% and a year-on-year decrease of 4.99%.
- The Korean vapeexhibition KOVAS announced that the exhibition will be postponed to the second half of the year. The organizer said that the exhibition was postponed due to the decision of the election.
- Japan Tobacco International (JTI) launched the first limited color of its heated tobacco device “PloomX Advanced” – “Bronze Glaze 99” (Bronze Glaze), with a pre-sale price of 1980 yen (about 12.81 US dollars).
- A hospital in Massachusetts, USA, has developed the drug “Cytisine” to help vape users quit smoking. The drug is expected to become the first FDA-approved vapesmoking cessation drug, although the approval process is expected to take some time to complete.
- The Hong Kong Department of Health recently raided a suspected counterfeit clothing store in Yuen Long District, seizing a large number of illegal vapes with a total value of more than HK$43,400.

- In March 2024, China’s exports of vapesto New Zealand were about US$10.9 million, a month-on-month increase of 42.68% and a year-on-year decrease of 17.89%; the export volume was about 215 tons, a month-on-month increase of 42.04% and a year-on-year decrease of 10.35%.
- The ban on flavored vapesin Virginia and Iowa in the United States has aroused doubts among the American public. Legislators said it was to protect consumers, but critics accused it of greedy lobbying by big tobacco companies.
- Thai Customs announced that it would impose heavier fines on vape importers to curb the sale of vapes to the public (especially teenagers). The specific amount of the fine is twice the value of the vapesand the total amount of taxes payable.
- Japan Tobacco International (JTI) plans to invest 450 billion yen (about 2.9 billion US dollars) in 2026 to transform into heated tobacco to ease the shrinking pressure of the traditional combustiblecigarette market.
- Zhongtai Securities gave Yinghe Technology an overweight rating. The rating report stated that the vape business revenue exceeded341 billion yuan in 2023, and the monthly shipment volume exceeded20 million.
